Founding pilot terms
These terms set the operating boundary for invited organisations evaluating BOQView.
Pilot access
BOQView is currently offered to invited organisations for controlled evaluation. Access is personal to authorised users, may require multi-factor authentication and may be suspended to protect customers, the service or third parties.
Professional responsibility
BOQView supports comparison and evidence review. It does not replace professional quantity-surveying, legal, financial or procurement judgment. Users remain responsible for checking source documents, resolving material ambiguities and approving every recommendation or award decision.
Customer content
You retain ownership of documents and project information you submit. You grant BOQView the limited right to host, process and transform that content only to provide, secure and improve the service for your organisation. You must have authority to upload and share the content.
Acceptable use
You must not attempt to access another organisation's data, bypass security controls, upload unlawful or malicious material, disrupt the service, or use BOQView to make an automated decision where human review is legally or professionally required.
Confidentiality and security
Each party will protect confidential information with reasonable care. BOQView applies the controls described on its security page, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Users must protect credentials, report suspected access promptly and revoke client links that are no longer needed.
Availability and changes
The founding pilot may change as evidence and practitioner feedback are gathered. We will communicate material workflow, security or data-handling changes to pilot users. Planned interruption will be notified where practicable.
Liability and termination
To the extent permitted by applicable law, BOQView is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or a procurement decision made without appropriate professional review. Either party may end pilot participation; data handling after termination follows the privacy notice and any agreed written pilot terms.
Governing position
These website terms are the baseline for the founding pilot and may be supplemented by a signed pilot agreement. Any conflict is resolved in favour of the signed agreement. Formal governing law and dispute terms should be stated in that agreement before paid or expanded use.
